Guidant Wealth Advisors Fee Schedule

As fee-only financial advisors, we are compensated solely from fees paid by our clients and do not accept commissions or compensation from other sources.  The fee-only method of compensation provides us with the independence to select the appropriate strategies for our clients.

Investment Management – Annual Fee

The annual fee for investment management is based on the advisory assets we manage.  This fee is charged on the value of the asset base calculated at the end of each quarter.  The fee includes ongoing investment management; services include the selection and ongoing management of investments, annual meetings to review investments, reporting of investment holdings and performance, yearend tax plan for taxable (non-qualified) investment accounts and ongoing education and discussion on a variety of investment, financial and estate planning topics.

Our fee structure is as follows:

Portfolio size

Over $10,000,000

There may be a 0.05% charge per year, for each additional account when we manage a “household account”

Occasionally there may be transaction costs for the purchase and sale of securities in an investment account.

Non-managed Accounts

There are certain situations when there are securities that can only be placed in a non-managed account.  Securities such as common and preferred stocks, government, corporate and municipal bonds, and unit trusts may need to be held in traditional brokerage account, where commissions are charged.

Various forms of insurance, including life, health, disability, and long-term care may be purchased where compensation may come from commissions.

Initial Consultation

We offer a complimentary initial informational meeting about our firm, our services and our investment philosophy and to learn more about you and your financial needs.

Financial Planning, Case Analysis, and Projects

Each plan and analysis includes data gathering, research, presentation and a meeting to discuss and answer questions.  Estimates of the time needed to complete individual projects will be provided in advance.  A deposit of $500 is required when the contract is executed.  The remaining balance is due and payable upon delivery of the plan or analysis.
